TurkishBaths ("we", "us") operates a booking marketplace for Turkish baths (hamams). This page explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it under GDPR and Turkey's KVKK.
Data we collect
Account: email, name, phone, preferred language. Reservations: guest names, section choice, party size, any notes you add. Payment: handled by Stripe - we never see or store your full card number. Usage: pages you view and basic device/browser info, for security and to keep the site working (see Cookies below).
How we use it
To create and manage your reservations, process deposits/payments, let venues confirm or reschedule your visit, send booking-related emails, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the service.
Who we share it with
The hamam you book with (name, party size, contact details, so they can host your visit). Stripe, our payment processor. Cloudflare, for security and content delivery. We do not sell your personal data.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe under its own privacy policy. We store the outcome of a payment (amount, status) but never your card number.
Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language/theme. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear cookies at any time in your browser settings.
How long we keep data
Reservation and payment records are kept for as long as required by accounting and tax law, even after you delete your account. Account profile data (name, email, phone) is removed on request, as described below.
Your rights
You can download a copy of your data or delete your account at any time from Account -> Data & privacy. Deleting your account removes your name, email and phone from your profile; past reservations are kept as anonymised accounting records where the law requires it.
